THE GENERAL ELECTION IS ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4 2025. You can vote in person at your polling place, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Accommodations will be made for voters with disabilities.

NOTE: Vote-by-mail ballots CANNOT be returned to your polling place for this election.
General Election Early Voting

Voting early and in person allows all registered voters to cast their ballot using the same voting machine you would use on Election Day during in-person early voting period prior to Election Day. You can now choose to vote in person when it’s most convenient for your schedule. No appointment is necessary! Any registered to vote in Middlesex County can vote at the Minnie B. Veal Recreation Center in Edison.

Vote By Mail
You can have your ballot delivered to your mail box so you can vote from the comfort of your home. There are three ways to return your mail-in-ballot once you have completed it.

1. MAIL: It must be postmarked on or before 8:00 p.m. Election Day and be received by your county’s Board of Elections on or before 6 days after Election Day.
2. SECURE BALLOT DROP BOX: Place it in one of your county’s secure ballot drop boxes by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

To register in New Jersey, you must be:

A United States citizen
-
At least 17 years old, though you may not vote until you have reached the age of 18
-
A resident of the county for 30 days before the election
-
A person not serving a sentence of incarceration as the result of a conviction of any indictable offense under the laws of this or another state or of the United States.

To register online you need your Date of Birth and either a NJ Driver’s License or the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number.
