Voters have two ways to vote early before the upcoming November 2nd General Election.

All voters who complete an application or are on the permanent vote by mail list will receive a paper mail-in ballot the week of September 20th. Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day – Tuesday, November 2nd. Mail back your ballot as soon as you receive it to make sure your voice is heard, and your vote is counted! You can also return your ballot at one of the two ballot drop boxes located in Edison before 8:00 p.m. on November 2nd.

Check your vote by mail status by clicking here:

  • Log into MyVoter Record

  • Click on Mail-In Ballot History

  • Look under “Ballot request type” for 11/02/2021 General Election (if it says “All Future Elections”, you are on the permanent vote by mail list and will be receiving a vote by mail ballot from the County Clerk’s Office)

To complete your ballot, simply follow these steps:

Fill in the circle with a black pen next to each of the candidates on the  Middlesex Democratic Team on Column A,  starting with Governor Murphy and continuing down the ballot to  Sam Joshi for Mayor and Harris, Patel and Poyner for Council

Seal your completed ballot in the yellow envelope using a glue stick and fill in the necessary information on the front.  Remember to sign next to the red X in order for your ballot to count! If someone has helped you fill out your ballot, please make sure they sign in the designated assistor section.

Put the yellow envelope in the pre-paid return envelope addressed to the Middlesex County Board of Elections. No postage necessary! Seal the envelope and return it via USPS mail or in one of the two convenient drop box locations in town:

 Edison Municipal Complex

100 Municipal Blvd

(Drop box located at Municipal Complex entrance outside under awning)

North Edison Public Library

777 Grove Ave

(Drop box located in front of the library)

Track your ballot to make sure it is received
